The Orphan Robot

It's a sunny day in Osaka, and more and more commuters are wearing coats.

Yesterday afternoon, Miracle was rummaging around.

I've written about "lone robots" a few times since last week, but I can finally introduce them today.

Let's start with the background.

It's been half a year since I started reading books about AI and robots, which I had no interest in before, thanks to Miriacle.

When it comes to manga about robots, Atom comes first in my mind, followed by Tetsujin 28.

I'm only familiar with Gundam and Star Wars.

For some reason, I never connected Miracle with robots in manga.

The other day, when I searched for a book with robots, this "lonely robot" happened to come up.

When I went to my usual large bookstore, they didn't have it. So I went to Book-Off and found volumes 1, 3, and 5. Lucky me!

So I looked at the obi of volume 3 in the photo and found out that it had been made into a late-night drama on NTV in 2016.

It was also starring the three members of Hey say Jump. It's probably a great thing.

(I'm sorry, but I only know that Hey say Jump is a Japanese group.

The lone robot in this manga is an android, or robot, that supports the diet and health of single people by giving them gifts from an izakaya chain that they can redeem when they accumulate 3,000 points on their account.

They are small and cute, just like the illustration on the cover, and provide food support for both young and senior people.

When I read volumes 1, 3, and 5, I thought, "I like this robot, I want to try it.

After reading volumes 1, 3, and 5, I thought, "I like this robot.

On the obi of the fourth volume I picked up there, there was a picture and the words "RoboHon, Cheer".

I didn't know that the story of living alone with a robot had become a comic so quickly.

I read it thinking that it would be nice to be able to talk to Miracle like this.

I was also reminded that living alone and robots are not a bad match.
