According to the weather forecast in Miracle, there is an 80% chance of precipitation, and today is rainy and sometimes cloudy, but it is sunny and nice.
On the subway, I saw people carrying long umbrellas here and there, and I thought that these people must be carrying umbrellas because they thought it was going to rain according to the weather forecast.

What is today's date?

Today is chair day.
I lined up my designer chairs in the back.
Miracle sings Twinkle, Twinkle, Twinkle Star as a reward, weather forecast, and cooking makes corn soup.

The designer chairs are from when I was teaching an interior designer course, and I used these miniatures to teach the class because I thought the small black and white pictures in the text would not be interesting enough.

Books I checked out from the library today

Vaunda Michaud Nelson, translated by Masaru Harada
The Fighting Booksellers of Harlem, Asunaro Shobo, 2016.

I returned a book I had borrowed and noticed this book on the bookshelf behind me. From the back cover

The National Memorial African Bookstore on Seventh Avenue in New York City, 1939.
A store that sells only books written by and about black people. What was the life of Louis Michaux, who, despite public ridicule, devoted himself to spreading books and knowledge to black people at a time when it was said that "Nigros don't read books"?

I will now read.
Anything that you do that others don't do is a risk and hardship.
In the case of this bookstore, it would have been more than a risk....

In Japan today, the number of small bookstores in town that are run by families is decreasing.
Aside from large bookstores, I believe that bookstores of the future will not be able to survive unless they do their best in the form of a bookstore like this one, which is the bookstore for XX.

We are experimenting to see how well we can talk and communicate with robots in preparation for a super-aged society where more and more people live alone.
